Craft Kettle Brews Success with Care Forgot

At Craft Kettle, we're passionate about helping craft breweries bring their unique visions to life. That's why we were thrilled to partner with Care Forgot, a new brewery in New Orleans, on their recent equipment purchase and installation.

Care Forgot is a brewery with a mission: to create exceptional craft beers while embracing the laid-back, carefree spirit of their beloved city. They needed equipment that could deliver on their high standards for quality and consistency, while also fitting seamlessly into their unique and extremely tight space in a historic New Orleans building.

The Challenge: A Historic Space

Care Forgot's brewery is located in a beautiful old building on Magazine Street, which, while full of character, presented some unique challenges. The space was long and narrow, with limited ceiling height in some areas. Additionally, the building's historic status meant that we had to be extra careful to preserve its original features during the installation process.

The Solution: A Customized Setup

We worked closely with Care Forgot's team to design a customized brewing system that would maximize their space and meet their specific needs. The setup included:

• 5 bbl Brewhouse: A perfect size for Care Forgot's production goals, allowing them to brew a variety of beers in smaller batches.

• Multiple fermenters and brite tanks: This provides the flexibility needed to keep up with demand and experiment with different recipes.

• A glycol chiller and control system: A glycol system positioned outback yet designed to provide the best temperature control for fermentation and conditioning.

The Installation: A Seamless Process

Our experienced team worked diligently to ensure that the equipment was installed safely and efficiently, taking into account the unique challenges of the space. We coordinated closely with Care Forgot's contractors to ensure a seamless integration with the building's existing infrastructure.

In order to make the most of the space, we helped Care Forgot select tanks that were short enough to fit under the lower sections of the ceiling and plumbing lines. In the end, the equipment looks like it was built for the space.

The Result: A Brewery Ready to Thrive
